UWC Spain Alliance
EWC is an international non-profit institution founded in 1962, which promotes international understanding, peace, and sustainability through multicultural education.
In its schools, young scholarship students between the ages of 15 and 18, from all over the world, and from very different socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, regardless of their political and religious beliefs, study the International Baccalaureate.
The Foundation is responsible for raising the necessary funds to ensure that every year a greater number of Spanish students is able to attend the United World Colleges. At the same time, it is responsible for selecting applicants according to the guidelines established by the International Office.
CEOE, the CEOE FOUNDATION and the UWC SPAIN FOUNDATION share the strategic goal of promoting international education and training as a way to contribute to boosting the talent of Spanish students, offering them new opportunities for growth.
We represent a strategic alliance focused on promoting and encouraging interculturalityamong young Spaniards; we establish the general lines of collaboration between the three parties in order to design, develop and implement projects and actions that are deemed to be of common interest, especially in the field of education and training. Among other actions, these include Spanish companies providing support for the scholarships system to study abroad that the UWC SPAIN FOUNDATION already has in place.
The collaboration agreement is in line with CEOE's commitment to promote training and talent from early stages and to promote entrepreneurial initiatives as a tool for social and economic transformation.
