COMPANIES AND COMPETITIVENESS
We defend that companies are a key economic and social actor for our country. Market freedom is essential to guarantee their growth on the basis of competitiveness and internationalization.
We are committed to innovation as a source of an equitable and sustainable productive transformation, capable of creating employment and generating wealth for society as a whole, and of improving the capabilities of the Spanish business fabric when confronted with situations such as those suffered during the pandemic.
We promote humanistic and effective leadership that adapts to a market that demands ever greater capabilities, supported by values such as entrepreneurship and an entrepreneurial spirit acquired from an early age.
ACTIONS WITHIN THIS PILLAR
Through projects such as Science and Companies (in Spanish, Ciencia y Empresa) developed in collaboration with the Fundación General del CSIC, we enable the transfer of knowledge and technology between the research world and the business world.
Through our collaboration with the ClosinGap Alliance, we are committed to female talent as an asset for business growth and competitiveness.
We promote the teaching of programming and computing for future employment through the Alliance with Code.org.
We collaborate with Fundación CYD to organize activities that contribute to the economic and social development in Spain, fostering the university-enterprise relationship.

PEOPLE TAKE MAIN FOCUS
We focus on social innovation as a way to achieve more compassionate companies where talent is an indispensable pillar.
We are committed to promoting training for employability, by continuously adapting it throughout one’s entire professional career. This goal is only possible with a strong drive towards quality education for all.
We want to consolidate equal opportunities, the value of diversity and personal autonomy as the cornerstonesto a truly inclusive transformation process.
ACTIONS WITHIN THIS PILLAR
We improve and expand inclusion by providing training and employment for people in vulnerable situations, in collaboration with Cáritas and through the Emplea Lab Project.
We promote the inclusion in society and in the labour market of people at risk of exclusion by supporting Fundacion La Caixa’s Incorpora Program.
We harness skills and promote labour integration, with It’s Your Force Project (in Spanish, Proyecto Es Tu Fuerza), thanks to the agreement with the Ministry of Defence for the guiding, training and labour integration of army and navy personnel.
We promote excellence in leadership through equality, diversity, and inclusion, with pioneering training initiatives: the “Unstoppable Girls” Project(in Spanish, Proyecto ‘Chicas Imparables’), Radia Program and CEOs for Diversity Alliance.
We promote the projection of Latin America through employability, with the Alliance with SEGIB for the education for employment program, Campus Plus.
With the Dual Vocational Training Alliance Award, we are committed to innovation in learning models based on training in real work environments.
We entered into a strategic alliance with the UWC SPAIN FOUNDATION to support and promote interculturality and include it in the education of young Spaniards.
Together with Caixabank Dualiza, we study new professional profiles and the needs of the labour market in Spain.

CORPORATE SOCIAL ACTION
We support the new 21st century Corporate Social Responsibility model, within the framework set out by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The companies’ social action is the materialization of their commitment to solidarity in today’s world. Therefore, our goal is to strengthen its transformation into one of the leading social actors for the Spanish civil society.
ACTIONS WITHIN THIS PILLAR
Through the Companies That Help Project (in Spanish, Proyecto Empresas que Ayudan), we organize direct actions with companies that make material, economic or logistical contributions to promote social and territorial cohesion in Spain.
We proposed the creation of a Company That Helps Seal, with annual awards for those companies that stand out for their social commitment.
We encourage public-private collaboration in times of crisis, making available all of our companies’ capabilities as good social practice, with the We Combine Health+Economy Plan (in Spanish, Plan Sumamos Salud+Economía)
We fight against the digital divide, supporting the circular economy as a way for families to access technology and to take advantage of its benefits in training and education, with the Sustainable Digitalization Project.
We contribute to the effective integration of Ukrainian refugees in Spain, through employment, with the Companies for Ukraine Project.
We promote healthy lifestyles at work through our Alliance with the Spanish Heart Foundation.
We promote the defence culture, and the preservation and awareness of historical and artistic heritage, through the Collaboration Agreements with the Army, Navy, and Civil Guard.

GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
We promote corporate transparency by fostering codes of good governance and best practices that serve as a guarantee of trust, talent, and branding.
We believe that it is essential to promote training that fosters the development and management of control structures and the fight against fraud from within organizations.
We support digital ethics and data protection and encourage actions that prepare our companies to face the cybersecurity challenge.
We spread, to counter misinformation, the true values of Europeanism and the open relationship between culture and companies.
We believe in the key role of corporate foundations as a driving force for good governance and improved corporate management.
ACTIONS WITHIN THIS PILLAR
We work with the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF) to revamp the reality of foundations and support them in their task of stimulating philanthropy and collective solidarity in an original and innovative way.
We showcase the social contribution of Spanish companies with the Alliance with the PWC Foundation for the Study on Social Cash Flow in Spain.
We promote the values shared by sports and the business world, alongside the Spanish Olympic Committee.
