Companies That Help Project
The Companies that help project stems from the commitment and collaboration offered by Spanish companies to support the social inclusion of the most vulnerable individuals.
The CEOE Foundation launched the Companies that Help project at the end of March 2020 in response to the crisis caused by COVID 19 and with the aim of helping to coordinate the solidarity of Spanish companies in different areas, with special focus on health, food, and technology.
Health products were distributed to nursing homes, youth centres, shelters, day care centres and a large number of welfare and healthcare organizations, reaching 350,000 people throughout the country. In addition, food was delivered to 25,000 households.
The initial goal of connecting all those companies that wanted to help with those in need far exceeded our expectations. Not only did we have the privilege of coordinating the aid and witnessing the solidarity of the companies and NGOs, but we also acquired a very valuable learning experience. As a result, the project intends to continue channelling this solidarity in the coming years and the structures deployed, as well as the experience gained, are already being used to support other projects undertaken by the Foundation.
We want our solidarity commitment to go further, reach more and work better.
