Companies for Ukraine
The CEOE Foundation, supported by the solidarity of Spanish companies, and using the experience and structure acquired in the “Companies that help” project, has launched this initiative to help Ukrainian refugees arriving to Spain, with the aim of enabling their effective integration in our country.
Thus, together with Universia and Oliver Wyman, and with support from numerous companies, we launched the technological platform empresasporucrania.org, which helps to cover the basic, social, and professional needs of refugees and other vulnerable groups through different action strategies, by offering:
- Verified information.
- Free training courses, mainly to facilitate the learning of the Spanish language and other employability skills.
- Verified job offers, making it possible for any organization to publish available positions.
To date, more than 11,200 job offers from 2,300 companies have been posted, with 2,700 registered users. In addition, thanks to Universia, 2,000 training scholarships have been awarded.
Likewise, the CEOE Foundation offers on-site assistance at the 4 offices opened within the CREADE centres (Reception, Attention and Referral Centres created to help Ukrainian refugees) coordinated by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, and located in Barcelona, Pozuelo de Alarcon, Malaga and Alicante.
The objective is that people who arrive in Spain from Ukraine “have the warmth, the welcome, the help for employment and the independence to develop their life project in the country through companies.
