Alliance with Code.org

CEOE and CEOE Foundation join Code.org to promote programming as a key language for future employment.

CEOE and CEOE Foundation have joined Code.org, a non-profit organization that aims to promote programming globally as a fundamental language for future employment.

The organization has launched the campaign “Learn to program, change the world” with the aim of introducing programming as a core subject in primary and secondary education in Spain.

The initiative already has the support of world leaders such as Barack Obama, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates in the United States. In Spain, it is worth mentioning the four former presidents of the Spanish government as well as businessmen such as José María Álvarez-Pallete, Francisco Riberas, José Damián Bogas and Juan de Antonio Rubio, among others.

For the CEOE Foundation, this kind of initiatives are essential to bringing a crucial issue for the future of society to the forefront of the public agenda.

For us it is essential to promote programming globally as a fundamental language for the employment of the future.
