CLOSINGAP Alliance

The CEOE Foundation joined ClosinGap with the main goal of combating and reducing gender gaps and assessing the related opportunity costs in Spain.

The CEOE Foundation believes that equal opportunities are a lever for competitiveness, which boosts the social value of Spanish companies and their role in transforming society.

ClosinGap, Women for a Healthy Economy is a cluster made up of large companies with almost one million employees, whose main goal is to combat and reduce gender gaps.

In a pledge to social analysis and how it relates to the promotion of female talent as a tool for the development of strategies and actions, the CEOE Foundation has prepared and published, in coordination with CEOE’s IEE, the “Report on the opportunity cost of the gender gap in SMEs and self-employed workers: a proposal to improve GDP and employment in Spain.”

In such a complex world to compete, the best thing we have is talent, it's people. More female talent means more prosperity for Spain.
