The CEOE Foundation, CEIM and the Community of Madrid set up a new testing centre at the Plaza Castilla hub

With capacity to conduct 1,000 tests a day, the screening point will be open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm, with the aim of early detection of COVID-19 cases in order to curb transmission.

The aim is to provide greater security for the mobility sector at a place where 32 intercity bus lines, 15 city lines and Metro de Madrid lines 1, 9 and 10 converge, with more than one million passengers passing through each month.

This Thursday, the screening station located at the interchange, which can be accessed from Avenida de Asturias and from the interchange itself, will begin testing.

The ‘Sumamos Salud+Economía Plan’, promoted by the CEOE Foundation, which in the Community of Madrid is implemented in conjunction with the Madrid Confederation of Employers (CEIM) and the Community of Madrid (CAM), will have a new screening centre at the Plaza de Castilla interchange.

With a daily capacity of 1,000 tests, the screening point will be open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 21.00 hours, with the aim of detecting COVID-19 early to curb transmission. It will start operating this Thursday, June 24.

To this end, the HM Hospitals Group will provide health professionals at no cost who will conduct these antigen tests purchased by the Ministry of Health.
