FADE, CEOE and the Government of the Principality of Asturias sign the agreement to join the Sumamos Salud+Economía Plan (In English, we Combine Health+Economy Plan)

The President of the Asturian Federation of Employers, Belarmino Feito, the President of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, the President of the CEOE Foundation, Fátima Báñez, and the President of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Adrián Barbón, together with the Regional Ministers of Industry and Health, and the Director of SESPA, have signed the agreement to join the Sumamos Salud+Economy Plan, promoted by the CEOE Foundation.

Under the Sumamos Plan, FADE, with the support of the CEOE Foundation, will expand and reinforce the efforts of the Principality’s health authorities, offering the tools and resources available to companies, helping to distribute information, vaccination and testing at the workplace.

Mass vaccination to reach 70% immunity in the population is currently the main goal to fight the pandemic and restore social and economic normality. FADE is actively and directly committed to achieving this goal in Asturias, following the signing of this agreement.  The President of FADE pointed out that “the business community has become an ally of the health authorities in the vaccination process”.

By joining the Sumamos Plan, FADE wants to achieve the much-needed balance between health and the economy, a binomial for which the essential foundations of public-private collaboration between the businessmen of Asturias and the Government of the Principality have been laid today.
