Organized by the CEOE Foundation and the Bertelsmann Foundation, these awards honour good practices focused on innovation in learning models and training in real work environments.
Cosentino was honoured this morning as a finalist in the 7th edition of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training Awards within the Large Company category. For the second consecutive year, these awards have been organized by the CEOE Foundation and the Bertelsmann Foundation within the framework of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training. Other finalists in this category were AGBAR and COVAP.
The awards, created in 2017, acknowledge the commitment to Dual Vocational Training in Spain, giving visibility to good practices committed to innovation in learning models based on training in real work environments. The aim is to raise awareness among the business community, schools, organizations, and society as a whole of the need to promote quality dual vocational training in our country.

The organizers of the awards have praised Cosentino’s project for its pioneering nature in Andalusia, and for its high-quality standards. The company’s management is committed to the project as a strategic asset to generate industrial talent, and to meet the needs of the sector and the region. With 159 students in 4 different VET Dual training cycles during the 2022/23 academic year, the commitment to constant growth in resources and facilities, teacher training, and its spirit of innovation and improvement has also been praised, given that 28% of Cosentino’s dual students are part of the company’s staff who continue to train and develop their professional skills.
Finally, as proof of the project’s success, it has been noted that 90% of the students who take dual courses in the company are hired at the end of their training. The finalists were chosen by an impartial and independent jury made up of a representative of each of the partners promoting the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training, a representative of the CEOE Foundation, and representatives of the winners from the previous edition.

The award ceremony took place this afternoon at CEOE’s headquarters in Madrid, and was attended by the President of the CEOE, Antonio Garamendi; the President of the CEOE Foundation, Fátima Báñez; and Francisco Belil, Vice President of the Bertelsmann Foundation and President of the Princess of Girona Foundation.
